Our Anniversary Trip ...

Way back in March, we decided to take a little trip to the Redwoods in Northern California. We had been to Italy the year before so it was time to take a trip that was a little scaled back money wise.
We stayed at the RedCrest Resort which came highly recommended. It was in the price range we were looking for and it seemed like a good idea. We forgot to check on amenities close by. The ads all said a grocery store was across the street. What it didn't say was the store had been closed for two years. That's okay we found a store about 10 miles away and there was a microwave in our room.

We did have a great time though. Here's some pictures of the Chandelier Tree.

A picture of some wild turkeys we came across.

We also enjoyed the wild life.

It really doesn't matter if you spend a lot of money or not on your anniversary trip. It's the memories that you make with the one you love.
